Northern Elite Gymnastics and Cheer raise funds for Children’s Specialized Hospital with Laurie Hernandez!
Northern Elite Gymnastics and Cheer has been fundraising for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals beneficiary, Children’s Specialized Hospital for over a decade raising over $221k in that time. Each year, the gymnasts and cheerleaders host the community for “Miracles,” a gymnastics demonstration and tricky tray. This year, they kick started their fundraising with a very special event featuring Olympic star, Laurie Hernandez! In partnership with Lucas Sports, Northern Elite students worked to fundraise for Children’s Specialized Hospital with Laurie Hernandez generously providing incentives for the students who reach certain levels. Incentives included photos and autographs, trophies, warm-ups with Laurie and even lunch with Laurie for the top 10 fundraisers! Children’s Specialized Hospital will receive over $13k in proceeds from this event! Thank you to the Northern Elite staff, especially Maggie Cacchione, all of the gymnasts and cheerleaders who participated and a BIG shout out to the top three fundraisers:

The event also featured one of our amazing champion families, Taryn and her mom Kathy! They shared their experiences at Children’s Specialized Hospital and also got to meet the Olympic star! Taryn proudly wore the leotard she got last year at Northern Elite’s “Miracles” event.
