Who We Are & What We Do: Outpatient Comprehensive Feeding Program

Our Comprehensive Feeding Program includes diagnostic and treatment planning for feeding issues. Our comprehensive feeding team consists of a speech therapist, occupational therapist, registered dietician, and psychology staff.

Some reasons for evaluation include:

• Restricted range of foods
• Difficulty transitioning off of tube feedings
• Poor weight gain
• Trouble chewing and swallowing different food textures
• Abnormal suck and swallow
• Significant mealtime behavior

After the evaluation, the team provides the family with meal time strategies to improve the child’s eating at home and makes therapeutic recommendations.
