MEET THE TEAM: NICOLE

Nicole Marie Fulmino Hudson has had the privilege of working with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Children’s Specialized Hospital for almost 10 years!  She started in April 2008 after beginning her nonprofit career at the American Red Cross of Central New Jersey and then as a nonprofit consultant at Semple Bixel Associates.

Nicole received her BA from Rider University in 2004.  She majored in Journalism with a concentration in public relations, always knowing she wanted to be in the nonprofit sector.  Nicole was diagnosed with Charcot Marie Tooth Disease at 14, and while living with a chronic illness is difficult, she felt that is also lit an illuminated path to a career she now cherishes.

Nicole received her CFRE in March 2015 and her MPA from Villanova University in May 2017 (it should be noted, she got a 4.0 in her masters, because she is a complete and utter NERD).   Nicole also co-founded a non-profit organization called Team Charity, which ran from 2007-2013. It was a movement to get young professionals engaged in giving back to their community. They hosted volunteer events and social fundraising events to engage that demographic.

Nicole’s role at Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation has expanded over the years.  Currently she oversees the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals team and the finance and data team in her foundation.  Nicole is fortunate enough to work with Costco Wholesale, IHOP Restaurants, Credit Unions, CDW, Direct Energy and programs including Radiothon and Extra Life. During Nicole’s tenure, our Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising has gone from $900,000 to $2.6 million and continues to grow, thanks to our amazing team!

Nicole recently moved to Hillsborough, NJ (thanks for finding our house RE/MAX Our Town!) with her devastatingly handsome new husband, Stephen, and her unbearably adorable dog, Griffin (who is also a therapy dog at CSH!).  Nicole loves reading, theatre, music, good and bad TV alike, and spending time with her friends and family.

Nicole loves her team and the kids they serve!  She felt very fortunate to have her team, both past and present, and almost all of her champions attend her wedding this past July, pictured below.

Looking forward to many more miracles in the years to come!
