Cranford Dairy Queen Donates 200 Blizzards for the Healthcare Heroes at Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ!

May 6-12 is National Nurses Week, an annual observance that honors the role that nurses play in healthcare. On May 6th, with thanks to the Cranford NJ Dairy Queen, our healthcare heroes at Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ enjoyed yummy DQ Blizzard Treats! The Cranford Dairy Queen, has always been a top fundraising DQ store for Children’s Specialized Hospital and continuously puts our kids first. This time, they specifically recognized our healthcare workers and thanked them for the miracles they make happen each day.

Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation was pleasantly surprised when calling to arrange payment for the large Blizzard order, that owner, Fred Rauchbach, was not accepting payment and was donating all 200 Blizzard treats. Because of the overwhelming generosity of Fred, every single healthcare hero at our Mountainside NJ facility, on the day, evening and night shifts, were able to enjoy a DQ Blizzard on Nurses Day.

A huge THANK YOU, to Fred and his DQ Crew for working on the frontlines and making and donating 200 Blizzards for the staff members at our outpatient and Long Term Care Unit in Mountainside, NJ.

Don’t forget, you can visit the Cranford DQ and treat yourself to a sweet treat and bring a little taste of joy to your day!

We are so grateful for our partnership with Dairy Queen, Fred, his crew and the heroes that work at Children’s Specialized Hospital. THANK YOU for everything that you’re doing to support your local community since the world turned upside down.
